2. Information we receive
When you contact us, we receive your name, email address, message and any phone number or project location you choose to provide. Name and email are required in the form; other fields are optional. Without contact details we cannot reply. Please do not send sensitive information or payment card details.
The hosting and email services may also process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, browser information and security logs to deliver and protect their services.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
We use enquiry details to respond, discuss your project and prepare a requested quotation. For steps you request before entering a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. General business correspondence and protecting our services rely on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f). Legal obligations, where applicable, rely on Article 6(1)(c).
Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. We do not use the form for automated decisions or profiling.
4. Delivery and service providers
Information is accessible to people handling your enquiry and the hosting, email and form providers needed to deliver it. We do not sell enquiry data. We may disclose information when required by law.
If a provider processes data outside the EEA, the applicable transfer arrangements must meet GDPR requirements, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your enquiry.

5. How long we keep data
We keep correspondence while handling your enquiry and any resulting project. After that, retention depends on necessary follow-up, applicable record-keeping duties and the need to establish or defend legal claims. Data no longer needed for those purposes is deleted. You can request information about the retention applicable to your enquiry or ask for deletion.
6. Your rights
Subject to GDPR conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Write to ilja.l@bellat.lv. We may need to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month; if a lawful extension is necessary, we explain why. You may also complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija) or your local supervisory authority.
7. Cookies and analytics
The current website code does not set cookies or use browser storage for advertising, analytics or visitor tracking. Fonts and images are served from the website. Hosting infrastructure may process technical requests and security logs.
If optional analytics or advertising technologies are added, this notice must be updated and those technologies must remain disabled until the required consent is given. You must be able to refuse and withdraw consent as easily as give it. Browser settings also allow you to inspect, block and delete cookies.
8. External links and updates
WhatsApp, Instagram and LinkedIn links take you to third-party services only when you open them. Their own privacy rules apply there. The LinkedIn link in the footer credits the website author; it is not a contact for BELLAT-HOME enquiries.
We update this notice when the website or its data processing changes. The date above identifies the current version.
